Vibration Analyst

Position Open: Vibration Analyst
Primary Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Requirements
Experience and certification
with vibration, infrared, airborne ultrasound, balancing, NDT,
Alignments, Root Cause Failure Analysis and manufacturing are a plus.
This position is based out of Pittsburgh.
Job Requirements
The Vibration Analyst will primarily be responsible for collecting route
based vibration data at an existing customer site, analyzing the data
and reporting findings back to the customer. Ensuring and maintaining
open lines of communication between the customer and Equipment &
Controls is critical to the candidates success.
Level 2 certification in
Vibration Analysis, or equivalent experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Math aptitude (algebra and geometry)
High School graduate or equivalent; some college preferred
Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to address
specific issues
Ability and willingness to work in widely varied environments
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
Ability to establish strong working relationships with customers
Strong customer focus and the desire to go the extra mile
Demonstrated computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Willingness to travel (50%)
Willingness to further knowledge base with further company supplied
training
Must be a team player able to work closely with Account Managers and
representatives from other Emerson business units.
Desired Experience
Heavy Manufacturing exposure
Rotating equipment background, turbine and compressor experience a
plus
CSI Hardware and Software experience
